AudioConvert

You need a WAV for a sampler, an AIFF for an editor, or an M4A to share, and the free converter sites are full of ads and uploads. AudioConvert does it locally with the encoder built into macOS. Pick a file, pick a format, done. Great for DJs and producers moving stems and tracks between apps.

Run in browser - no install

Drop in an audio file or click Choose a file, and AudioConvert decodes it right here in your browser and re-exports it as a clean WAV. It reads MP3, M4A/AAC, WAV, AIFF and FLAC (whatever your browser can open). Nothing is uploaded - the whole conversion happens on your machine, so even private recordings never leave it.

The in-browser version exports high-quality WAV - universal and uncompressed, plays everywhere. For compressed targets like M4A or AAC, use the download above: it uses the macOS system encoder for small, native-quality files.
