Creative Strategist
You concept the images, carousels and video/reels that carry our media buyers' spend. You think in hooks, angles and formats first, then direct the shot list, the edit and the caption that gets it there. On paid social the creative is the targeting, and you own that side of the equation.
About Kavalsia
We build and run acquisition systems, Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Microsoft, for real DTC and lead-gen brands, plus a few of our own. We're a small, remote, output-first team: the accounts are real, the spend is real, and the person who briefs the creative is the person who gets to see it work or fail in the numbers a week later.
What you'll do
- Concept angles for each account, then turn them into a static image, a carousel and a short-form video/reels brief.
- Write and direct the shot list, hook, caption and on-screen text for every format you brief.
- Partner with media buyers so creative testing maps to real audiences, not just what looks good.
- Read the account before you brief anything: audience, positioning and what the imagery itself signals to the algorithm.
- Refresh fast when a winner fatigues, and kill an angle that's pulling the wrong audience before it pollutes the data.
What we're looking for
- 2+ years briefing or producing performance creative for DTC / e-commerce paid social.
- You can move between a single static image, a carousel and a reels concept for the same product without repeating yourself.
- You think about who a piece of creative will attract, not just whether it converts, and you can explain why that matters for Pixel and CAPI signal quality.
- Comfortable directing editors and designers, and giving feedback that's specific enough to act on.
- Fast, opinionated, and able to defend a creative call with more than taste.
Nice to have
- Hands-on Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager exposure, so briefs land format-native.
- Basic edit skills (CapCut, Premiere or similar) to mock up a concept before handing it off.
How we work
- Remote-first, async, output over hours.
- Real accounts, real spend, real ownership, with the team and tooling to win.
Compensation
- $90,000 to $130,000 USD a year, based on experience and the accounts you come in able to run.
- Remote, full-time. We pay for the seat, not the zip code, inside that band.
